School of Survival
Kenbrook Bible Camp will have offered five courses that began this past spring and will culminate in a father and son over night trip to the Appalachian Trail this fall.
Courses have included: Clothed for Survival, Stoves and Trail Food, Basic Fire, Advanced Fire, Kit Contents and Water Collection.
These experiences have been geared particularly for families and family pairs, but do work for the individual. The Saturday training events have been open to participants ages 10* and up. The courses focused on one to two topics or skills each month and included 3 hours of instruction, dialogue, demonstration, and or skill/practice.
